The Verichese ham factory was established in early 1970, on the ruins of an old country house. Its location is particularly favourable in terms of ecological, climatic and environmental conditions: the prevalently dry and slightly ventilated microclimate is typical of the Tuscany-Emilia Apennines. The constant breezes ensure adequate ventilation and help to create the enzymatic processes and biochemical changes required for the production of an excellent Modena Ham.

Prosciuttificio Verichese is a member of "Consorzio del Prosciutto di Modena DOP" that protects and controls the production of Modena Ham DOP.

 

The Verichese ham factory has specialised for over 30 years in the production of cured hams. Its top-ranking product is Modena ham, cured in the open air for most of the year in old cellars that were part of the original building.
The company has an output of around 60,000 hams per year.
Modena Ham is available with bone, boned or cut into slices.
The tasty and refined flavour is typically Italian and is recommended for diets.
Modena Ham acquires a natural aroma and is easy to digest thanks to the long period of curing, the low salt content and the use of genetically controlled, top-quality meat.
